Commercial Description:
Incredibly well balanced, Snoqualmie Falls Copperhead Pale Ale first grabs your attention the great aroma of Washington Centennial hops, followed quickly by toasty malt flavor from generous amounts of imported light crystal malt, finally giving way to a clean, bright hop flavor. Deep gold in color, medium bodied and exceptionally clean, this American style pale ale is destined become a new Northwest favorite!

Golden color very cloudy with a light head. This had a very nice easy to drink flavor with a good blance between the hops and malts. The hops where noticable as this being a good NW brewery. Very dry finish to this beer.

pours golden amber with a little carbination, and a thin off white head, that does not disapate during drinking. i can smell the hops and the malt not too strong, maybe a little caramel too. nice taste, lightly bitter, medium body, lightly creamy, aftertaste leaves the mouth slightly bitter which is a nice touch. overall a good beer, i’m happy with this one.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of citrus, light caramel, and lightly floral. Tastes of citrus, light caramel, and toasted malts. I thought this one had a decent sweet to bitter balance.

Bottle: Fairly clear gold with a little residue floating around. Light floral hop aroma with hints of pepper. The taste is a bit off - eggs, sulphur, boards. It leaves a weird coating on your tongue . . . not for me. Thanks anyway BuckeyeBoy.

Bottle: Clear light orange color with a modest white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Taste is more citrus and fruity with some florals, hints of caramel, and sweet malt. Nice, crisp yet lingering finish. Thanks to Jeremy for sharing.

Small white head tops a rusty, copper colored beer. Medium-high to high clarity. Retention is average, lacing is light.
Citric and sweaty hops combine in the nose, with toasty, lightly sourish malt notes trailing close behind. Fully passing notes of vanilla sugars and light honey are glimpsed. Candied oranges and lemon zest seem to add too much sour/bitter astringent like character. Medium strength of aroma, no alcohol/flaws noted.
Toasty malt wastes no time in asserting itself, much to the chagrin of the palate which has to cope with lacking amounts of sweet malts and further bittering hops (citrus mainly). Sweaty/hay-like flavors linger on the finish and there is a hard character from the crystal malts. By the end, it’s mostly IBUs and toastiness, fatiguing/boring the palate. Medium to medium-light body, but with a high amount of water/malt ratio. Moderate carbonation, no alcohol. Clean.
