| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Some gentle hop and caramel malt in the aroma, faint light brown sugar and citrus. Flavor is malty and lightly sweet to start, turning citric, astringent and moderately bitter by the end, toasted malts and citrus mingling here. The hops turn faintly metallic as well, perhaps a bit overwhelmingly so for such a light amber style. Light and effervescent mouthfeel, body is thin. Meh. pantani (1896), Salinas, California, USA
