Very mild straw & hop aroma. Just about as light in flavor, only minor malts are present. Body and mouthfeel seem somewhat simple & thin. Finishes quite light, almost like it has been watered down. Need a bit more body & flavor to really be enjoyable.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 6, 2004 Nice looking copper colored beer with a sizeable off-white head. But looks are about all it had going for it. The nose was just underwhelming with a hint of carmel and malt. Quite dry on the palate with a light touch of malt and caramel flavors. There's also some hops mixed into the finish. It wasn't very well balanced. Far from being an awful beer. It's decent drinking but I think I expect more from Snoqualmie. beerguy101 (3878), Newark, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2003 Amber gold color. HUGE foamy white head. It takes several minutes to diminish enough to even attempt to drink. Aroma is fruity and sweet with a touch of hoppyness. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are mild but definitely grapefruity and piney. Nicely balanced. Light and refreshing. It really more of a Pale Ale than an amber or some what of a cross between the two. There are also touches of citrus and fruit that appear about halfway through. Very lively carbonation throughout. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. KingPinHead (390), Des Moines, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 6, 2003 Light, fruity aroma one would not associate with an amber---same goes for the orange hue; head is light, leaves speckled lace. Flavor is again lightly fruity with spritely hop contribution...carbonation moderately light...The finish is quite clean with trace dryness. Body is medium-light, which is clearly intended, and the overall balance is targeted at refreshment, which it undoubtedly accomplishes. This is really more of a pale ale in countenance than an amber, but in either category, is pleasant to drink if not a product that stands out from the pack...This would make a nice starter for a session. Decent session with a medium carmeley sweet mouthfeel. A bit grainy towards the end. Crit (2401), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
