4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep and dark with mocha head. The aroma seems earthy at first then burnt, roasty, a bit of smoke and chocolate. The taste is both good and yum with roast to burnt malts to go along with a layer of earthiness to start. Midway some chocolate surfaces. Toward the finish everything comes together in harmony and leaves a lingering chocolate, a bit of burnt malts and just a hint of smoke into the after taste. Very tasty indeed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This poured from the 22 oz bottle a very dark brown that let in no light and raised a light brown head with good retention and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate, coffee, and ripe fruit. Soft creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is heavy on the coffee and the finish is dry. A very decent porter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. Color was dark brown iwth a light brown head. Aroma was good, with roasted malt, caramel and vanilla. Flavor was really nice for the style. Caramel, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and cocoa. A bit of chalk, but it wasn’t detracting. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown with a hint of red and a medium sized white head. Nice chocolaty malt aroma with a similar flavor and a solid mouthfeel. Not the best porter in the world, but it’s hard to mess up this style and it was a solid enough offering.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Dark brown with a red gleam. Light brown head. Roast, chocolate, coffee in the aroma. Quite nice. Flavour is dusty with some light roast and chocolate. Compared to the aroma the flavour is very bland. Medium bodied. Dry. Sweetish and roasty end. Its all about looks and smell in this beer. Flavour is not even close to par with the aroma.
