Very much a black body with a light tan head. This leaves a very heavy lacing on the side of the glass. The aroma was pancake syrup along with some coffee and chocolate. The taste had some dark coffee and some milk chocolate. There is a nice smooth and slick mouthfeel with little carbonation. This is a nice porter, but could use a little more body. Recieved in a trade with Larry Pitonka.

Thanks to brewdad for giving me a chance to try this. Poured thick black into the glass. Bitter chocolate on the nose. Taste was chocolate, a hint of coffee, black licorice, with a nice bittersweet finish. Full bodied and flavorful. a bit underrated I would say.

22oz bomber purchased from Liquid Solutions
Appearance: murky brown with mocha head. Some retention and lacing.
Smell: quite nutty with some roastyness.
Taste: nujt up front, roasted malt in the middle, touch of sweetness in the finish.
Mouthfeel: A touch syrupy for my liking, but just a touch.
Drinkability: Would have scored higher if the mouthfeel was thinner.
Very nice porter indeed. Worth trying.
