Lightly hazy deep straw color with large and steady white head. A little light on aroma. But I am a little stuffy. Initial flavor is a quick burst of hops that is midigated by the malty sweetness. Balances well. Plenty of hops but no where overbearing. Really nice hop finish.

Honey gold, tall pretty white head. Tropical hop aroma comes through all that thick spongy barrier. More complexity than I expected from a single hopped beer. Sturdy malt base, full leafy grassy zingy hop finish.

Nice appearance. Decent texture, albeit a little light. Starkly toasted malts. Chalky caramel. Some orange with a bit of rind. Grassy-citrusy hops. OK, just not overly exciting, IMO.

22oz bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a sticky off white head. The initial nose was very perfume-y, then gave way to some tropical fruits and citrus. Nice malty backbone with a bitter finish.

Bomber. Pours a very lightly hazy, dark golden orange color. A thick, frothy, off-white head leaves dense curtains of lacing on the glass. The nose gives notes of lemongrass, grapefruit, and tangelo hops, with a light toffee malt base that shows some hints of butterscotch. Flavors follow suit, substantial west coast citrus hoppiness being countered by an equally big, lightly buttery, toffee malt base. The palate is medium full and lightly syrupy up front, finishing dry, grassy, and somewhat astringent. Good balance and tasty overall, but there are a few flaws that hold it back from greatness.

Bought this 22 oz. bottle at Bottleworks in Seattle. The beer pours a bright orange hue with a thick white head and sticky lacing. Loads of grapefruit and earth in the nose. There is a blast of juicy fruit/grapefruit in the flavor with a nice malt background to help balance the bitterness. Still there is a great earthy lingering bitterness at the end. Nice chewy mouthfeel and great drinkability. This beer was a nice surprise to me since I had never had Snouqualmie beers before. I will be looking for this one again for sure!

22oz bottle courtesy of 5000 poured into a tulip. Pours a bright, slightly hazy orange with a big fluffy white head that stays on as a cap for ages and leaves tons of lacing. A very nice looking beer. The aroma is mostly light citrus fruits, especially lemons, oranges and a bit of grapefruit. There is a bready malt presence that serves to support the big hop profile. The taste has the same light citrus hops presence in the form of a nice bitterness up front that lasts throughout and lingers in the finish as well. There is just enough malt to balance things out but the hops are the real star of the taste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of carbonation and leaves the palate sticky with juicy hops. This is a citrus-dominated IPA that has plenty of hops but remains very drinkable as the hops don’t overwhelm the palate by any means. Very tasty.
