2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Been looking to try this in a bottle that appears not to be too old (based on the giant cakes in most bottles in my area).
Pours hazy copper with solid sheet of small light cream foam. Smells like resin, hint of pine, grass, body odor, a really assertive PNW style nose here - punched in the face, to wake you from the rain. There is a strong biscuit (buttermilk) in the aroma as well. Taste is primarily malts with sweet and crackery flavors and a touch of cardboard oxidation alongside a healthy bitterness sans layered flavorful character. Some dry pithy and resiny flavors, but all and all a lower end flavor profile. Medium body with moderate carb and a slightly dry finish. This is not impressive at all, but I have seen others rave about it, maybe I’m simply getting old stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this beer poured from draft at Taphouse Grill in Seattle. This is a hop monster as the description says. Orange bubbly look. Loose head. My pallette is tainted from too many previous IPA

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bomber thanks to michaelinwa. Poured slightly hazy amber into a perfect pint glass. Aroma of hay, and citrusy hops. Very bitter on the tongue, more grass and pine. Harsh finish. Decent IPA, but wouldn’t seek this one out again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with a thin ring of white lacy head. Aroma of the hops, slight pine, mostly citrus funk. Taste is more malt balanced with a bitter finish. Pretty solid but nothing special.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pale gold color (not quite amber), clear, white head with good retention. Aroma is pine, citrus, and the garlic fries I just had. Damn they were potent. Some caramel maltiness as well (aside: autocorrect sucks hard - manitees? Malting ng? Wtf). Taste: floral, pine, nice bitterness but not overpowering. Good light, subtle sweet backbone to balance. Medium body, nice carbonation, lasting bitter finish that isn't overpowering. Overall: this is my kind of ipa.
