| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2007 A pleasantly balanced NW IPA. Gold orange color with good lacing and a lasting head. Earthy hop aroma with some grapefruit rinds too. Floral and herbal bitterness is light with a nice biscuity malt backbone. Not too bitter, not too sweet. Extremely drinkable for 6.6%. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2008 Pours from bomber medium golden forming a nice large white foamy head. Aroma was of citruis pines, hops and wet forrest rines, malted wild flowers come through as well. Flavour was of peppery herbs, tart pine resins, and citrus notations. Nice and sharply bitter, and overall well made IPA, would love to try on tap. BMan1113VR (2980), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Honey gold, tall pretty white head. Tropical hop aroma comes through all that thick spongy barrier. More complexity than I expected from a single hopped beer. Sturdy malt base, full leafy grassy zingy hop finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2009 This is a really pretty looking beer, transparent red/amber color with a very nice fluffy white head and active carbonation.
Smell is pleasant but so very small in stature that I can barely detect anything.
Taste is still there, a pretty flavorful beer for a regular IPA. A bit of bread over taken by fruity pineapple.
Mouth is thin and bubbly with a nice bitter finish.
Overall a solid but unspectacular beer.
