greenhorn1 (359), Eugene, Oregon, USA Apr 17, 2008 22 oz bottle from BottleTrek.com. Copper appearance with a head that dissipates quickly into wispy clouds. Aroma was quite perfumey and herbal. Flavor is similiar with some mild citrus notes and balanced well with caramel malts. Definitely hopped up and a long bitterness lingering. I am just not a big fan of Columbus hops, but still a decent PNW IPA.
anders37 (2505), Malmö, Sweden Jul 23, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Rating #2500. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma. Malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor with some grassy hints. Long hoppy bitter finish with a very bitter aftertaste. travita (662), Lewisville, Texas, USA Jul 22, 2008 Orange color with a light white head. Very clear. Smell is light hops, citrus, and grass. Taste is light and clean with flavors of light bitterness, citrus, and grassy. Swalden_28 (516), McKinney, Texas, USA Jul 16, 2008 Bottle, thanks to Bu11zeye.
Pours a cloudy gold with off-white head.
Has very nice fruity aroma. Flavor has some grapefruit with a light sweetness and a nice bitter. Full mouthfeel, med-carbonation....Pretty good stuff! Tejas (581), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 14, 2008 Blonde, crisp, light, little dry and flowery. Didn’t find this big malty backbone but that’s ok. Bier brauen (129), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jul 13, 2008 I consider this a pretty balanced IPA. Maybe just a tad bitter in the finish (I prefer that fresh hop flavor and aroma, with less grapefruit). But overall, a good craft brew.
