3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-07-14. Lightly hazy dark orange body large foamy head. Aroma is pleasant, with notes of honey, and has an interesting grainy quality to it. Flavour is relatively bitter with a floral character. Mild honey if you look for it. Average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation suits it. Enjoyable. On tap at Rhino Summer Beer Festival, Toronto

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at ’The Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013’. Pours a murky orange-copper with a small diminishing fizzy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruit, sorghum (or whatever they used), fresh peas and honey. Flavour is moderately hoppy but is too sweet for my liking. Moderately bitter finish as well. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good for a gluten-free beer but as a beer, its just good..

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The Rhino summer fest. Sorachi hop blends with 5% honey to make a sweet and slightly bitter finishing concoction. Nicely drinkable.

Pour at session toronto is a good reminder to brewers that just cuz you can include ingredient __________ doesn’t mean you should. Shallow, limp & insipid. Grass pour 15 feet from snowman booth. Fail.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours cloudy orange. Aroma of hibiscus lavender and honey. Finish is interesting but nose is a little out of line. Average carbonation. Finish is more sour than bitter. Not up to the standards of the quad or imp stout. Tap at Session.
