Bottle and Tap. Pours clear amber with a small white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is faint spruce, pine and caramel. Citrus notes apparent on tap only. Flavor is the same (much fresher and more citrusy on tap). Light sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body.

Pours a nice orangish copper with a minimal head. This beer has a nice citrusy hop flavor with a bit of earthyness and a touch of malts, it also has a slight spice to it. Decent beer.

Really nice. Clean earthy aroma and some citrus. Appearance is golden amber with a thin legs and light head. Taste is clean malty cereal, bubbly, light sweet caramel. Palate is barely saturated with hop and grain. Overall easy to drink light to med body smooth light mouthfeel

Thanks to anggrec for this sample. Unfortunately, this was a bust. The most overly carbonated beer I’ve ever had. Poured into a tulip glass, the head filled it immediately. Even a very slow pour into a tilted glass did little good. The aroma was the best part, malty with a bit of hop balance. The flavor had a metallic tinge, a bit sour. The beer was very thin. Maybe a bad bottle.

Poured from 12 oz bottle, picked up at the brewpub. Copper colored with medium off white head. Nose was a little off at first, but as it warmed up it improved. More on the malty side, not a lot of hop characteristics to me. Pleasant taste, smooth and very drinkable. I did open this up with a FW Pale 31 and poured them blind for my mate. She went back and forth for a while, eventually choosing the 31. Overall, it is an interesting PA, completely different then the 31.

Poured into a pint glass. Color is golden amber. Aroma is sweet caramel malt and resinous hops. Flavor is caramel malt at the start transitioning into hoppy flavors towards the finish. Palate is smooth with light bitterness. Overall a good pale ale.

Poured into a shaker glass. Aroma is mostly malty. Flavor is more bitter with more malt body. Palate is full bodied. Really similar to Sierra Nevada draft. Overall pretty good!

Draft @ Snowshoe. Pours a bright, brilliantly clear golden-orange color; creamy, fine-bubbled off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. Some pleasant, rounded biscuity and caramel malts in the aroma (nicely done maltiness) alongside some earthy bitterness; more of an amber than anything. Medium body; medium CO2; round, but well-attenuated. Nice, rounded biscuity and caramel maltiness, along with just enough balancing earthy/mineral bittering hops; balanced overall, and hugely drinkable. Like a winter warmer for summer in the mountains. Medium-length finish: biscuity, minerals, dry.

Pours light amber with a decent beige head and a pine aroma. There is a robust caramel malt flavor with with a clean bitter hop finish. Not bad, but a bit watery.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Nice malty and citrus aroma and taste with a caramel bread finish.
