Bottle. Pours an unclear amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hops with American hops, Columbus/Tomahawk, grapefruit. The flavor is hops with grapefruit. The palate is bitter. Overall a good beer.

In the bottle at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. This beer had a nice malty feel to it. I like it a lot. Very good hop and malt balance. Still impressively carbonated even though it was about a 12 year old bottle of beer.

Fruity, hoppy, and refreshing. Very balanced and flavorful. Fresh, clean, and tasty. Sweet malt / bitter finish; complements well. Just a bit cloying in the finish, but otherwise a very fine pale ale.

bottle under the Yosemite Falls name - Pours amber with a large, dense head. It has a nice, moderately hoppy aroma. The taste is pleasantly hoppy with a dry finish. It’s a little thin and it’s too fizzy, but still a fairly good pale ale.

Draft @ Snowshoe. Pours a bright, brilliantly clear golden-orange color; creamy, fine-bubbled off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. Some pleasant, rounded biscuity and caramel malts in the aroma (nicely done maltiness) alongside some earthy bitterness; more of an amber than anything. Medium body; medium CO2; round, but well-attenuated. Nice, rounded biscuity and caramel maltiness, along with just enough balancing earthy/mineral bittering hops; balanced overall, and hugely drinkable. Like a winter warmer for summer in the mountains. Medium-length finish: biscuity, minerals, dry.

Bottle labled as Yosemite Falls Pale Ale. Pours a hazy orange with a tanned head. Sweet flavor with lots of orange aromas (a bit artificial) ans some spices. Sweet and bitter finnish. I like the strong orangy aromas.

(Bottle) Fruity, malty and moderately sweet with a mildly bitter hops presence, this is a pretty flavorful and enjoyable pale ale which demonstrates solid balance; The long lasting finish is still quite malty with some sweetness, but the hops becomes just a little more assertive and shows a wee bit of grapefruit-- very nice; Medium bodied but heavier and a little more sticky on the palate than most American pale ales, but I like it; The nose is quite fruity and malty with a mild sweetness, but a very light hoppiness; Deep orange in color with a very slight cloudiness; Light tan head is nice and frothy, with solid retention and fairly dense lacing; The brewer has done well here with a solid and above average effort for this style

Pours copper with a thin orangy head. The aroma is fresh citrusy and fruity hops. The flavor is a nice balance between sweet fruit with a touch of caramel and bread and a pleasantly hoppy finish. A nice go to APA.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2004 The beer after its pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a slightly bemused golden amber color with a generous white head that is frothy in texture, the resultant lace a thin but covering sheet upon the glass. Nose has a nice malt sweetness, fresh and clean with just tad of hop floral, start is has a nice malt profile and is somewhat sweet, the top light to medium in feel. Finish is prickly in its acidity with the hops modestly spicy and the aftertaste dry and long lasting.

Foamy white head, hazy orange body. Dominating fruit hoppy aroma of apple and orange with a soapy tone. Fruity flavor, pineapple and mango and some hoppy bitterness. Refreshing.
