Pours a clear orange color with a finger of white head. Huge citrus aroma. Tons of grapefruit, tangerine, and kumquats. Some pine, pineapple, and peach, too. A bit of bready malt in the background. The flavor is extremely hoppy with a great grapefruit and tangerine flavor. Some sweet pineapple and peach fruit notes and a nice pine bitterness. Slight malt sweetness of bread and biscuit. Not an overwhelming bitterness to it.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On draft at the brewery. Pours a deep, dark golden orange with a fairly big head. Pretty good lacing throughout the glass. Aroma is hop pellets which I donít know that I have smelled as pronounced as in this beer, almost fake in a way. Initial taste is a malt bomb to the point of it tasting like a DIPA that has been sitting in a warm garage for 2 years, not pleasant at all. Hop bitterness comes in just a bit and you can then tell this isnít an old beer but then fades with a very odd sugary sweetness that lasts in the back of your throat. Overall, this beer was all over the place and not in the best of ways. I think some tweaking needs to be done on this one.

Wow, serious IPA. I have had Pliny the Younger and Alpine Expo but this is absolutely amazing. It has the scent of a handfull of hop cones, citrus bomb and tropical fruits. The malt is overpowered by the hops immensly. The taste follows the smell but intensified and delicious, no alcohol detected and only a small amount of malt on the finish. Finishes dry leaving you wanting another sip. Honestly one of the best IPAís I have had and up there with The Younger. If you see it on tap, do yourself a favor and order one or two.
