Are we getting a little away from ourselves here? An 8.4% IPA, not an IIPA? Ok, well rating this as an IPA, the aroma was traditional San Diego hop bomb, citrus and spruce with some grapefruit. The mouthfeel is acerbic and a detergent like. Nice finish however.

On tap at Societe, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of floral hops, some citrus notes, and slightly sweet malt. Flavour brings out citrus and floral hops and dry biscuity malts. Quite dry and thirst-quenching, with amazing depth. Stunningly well-made IPA.

On tap at smallbar... Pours a tras parent golden brown consistency and topped with a thin off-white head... Aroma of piney citrus, fresh and somewhat dank tropical fruit. Nice clean with a mild malt sweetness... Flavors are more of the same. Grassy citrus and pine with a mild bitter backend. Lighter than medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Solid.

Sample at the tasting room. Clear copper color with a medium thin foamy white head that dissipates gradually. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, roast malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, pineapple and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a zesty citrus and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at Urban Solace. Aroma is big citrus notes with a hint of honey and floral hops. A magnificent golden with a medium foamy white head and notable lacing. Taste begins with juicy citrus explosion followed by bubblegum and then perfectly balanced by subtle bitter hop flavor. Wonderfully smooth finish to a delicious citrus bomb IPA!
