3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Obriens. Nice light easy drinking IPA. Peppery floral aroma but lacking a lasting hop chatacter. Straightforward flavor profile; balanced but the bitterness fades quickly. Enjoyable

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Comapred to it’s bigger siblings, this is almost their "session" ipa. Softer, though not lacking in the flavor or aroma department. Fruity and vibrantly hoppy, though restrained. Good mellow semi sweet ipa

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pours golden yellow with small creamy gold head and good lacing. Aroma is really nice: lychee, guava, strawberry, banana, sweet malts, light pine and marijuana. Taste is pine, mango, and grapefruit with light but smooth mouth feel and lightly piney and soapy hops on the finish. Thirst-quenching for an IPA.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
From a tap at City Beer. A aroma of tropical hops with a hazy above average pale in appearence.I taste a lot of tropical fruit like mango and cantaloupe with only a slight bitterness.

Another fantastic IPA from this brewery. I think Pupil might be one of the top 3 beers in the area and this is a nice, lighter version of that.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a medium orange with a one finger white head which fades to a little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, (a lot of melon), light dankness, and some herbal hop notes. Taste is similar to the aroma with the addition of some light bready malts. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice IPA that is very drinkable and refreshing.

>> Amazing foam, glowing gorgeous straw. Perfect lacing. Nose is delicate with beautiful floral notes, jasmine, lavender, honeysuckle. Taste is chalky, dusty, papery...perhaps oxidized. Really like the aroma on this one and the no specialty malt is my thing. Will have to retry this.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Downtown Johnny Brown’s: Poured a glowing yellow liquid with a slight haze to it while having a thin frothy head. Aroma is nicely hopped with scents of citrus fruits and juices that mainly suggest grapefruit, orange peel and brown onion. The flavor is bitter and packs a surprising punch of hops that really delivers the feeling of San Diego made beer.
