Very easy to drink... Finished a growler before I even realized it. Amber with an off white head. Sweet and spicy aroma with a sweet and toasty spicy taste. Very tasty... Complex but refined. Not the best San Diego Belgian but for sure one of the perks of living here.

The pour is semi transparent brown with a small white head. The nose is prunes, raisins, molasses, Belgian candy sugar and some cloves with light pepper. The taste is medium high sweet and low medium bitter. The texture is soft and smooth. Body is heavy and the finish is long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ brewery. Amber color with a scattering of white foam for a head. Aroma is clove, pepper, spice, and minimal malt sweetness. Flavor is clove with pepper and spices and some light malt sweetness. Clean finish. Quite a bit of complexity and restraint in a clean, somewhat dry package. I really enjoyed this beer.

Tap at the brewery. Rating #15. I really enjoyed this one, I tend to slant towards the darker Belgians if I were to imbibe. Tasty stuff. (2623)

Pours a cooper-amber with a thin off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted bread, banana, raisins, candied Belgian yeast, and some cloves. Taste is of baked bread, dark caramel/brown sugar, banana, raisins, candied Belgian yeast, and some cloves. Has a medium body with a slighty watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a above average, pretty tasty belgian ale that could maybe use some more body.

9 mar 2013, tap at the Societe. Light amber, clear, no bubbles. Nose is straw, Belgian ale. Meh. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Lemon rind, Belgian gold yeast, straw. Okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear amber color with an off-white head. Sweet toffee on the aroma, some brown sugar, and banana. A nice spice note, maybe some clove. The flavor is a bit better than the aroma. Good sweetness, fairly straightforward beer. The spiciness is a bit on the subtle side, but nice. Good banana flavor, a mild raisin note, and some dark caramel.
