Tap @ brewery. Amber color with a scattering of white foam for a head. Aroma is clove, pepper, spice, and minimal malt sweetness. Flavor is clove with pepper and spices and some light malt sweetness. Clean finish. Quite a bit of complexity and restraint in a clean, somewhat dry package. I really enjoyed this beer.

One of the memorable beers I had during a whirlwind tour of SD breweries with t0rin0. Clean, slightly more on the malty side (vs. Harlot). Belgian spiciness. Nice.

Clear brilliant dark amber with a thin light beige ring of foam around the edge. Nutty and malty biscotti-like nose. Smooth nutty flavor that’s a bit earthy and biscuity, with a gentle belgian hoppiness to balance.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear amber colored body that has thin gold edges supporting an off white sort of tan-ish head of foam. The aroma offers up a little bit of malts, candy sugars and then a light pinch of prunes and cherries off in the background. The taste is smooth and it slides into a nice sweet malt character nuanced by some candy sugars and then getting into prunes and sort of figs wrapped with a kind of spicy yeastiness. A pretty nice drinking beer.
