Sampled on 10/13/2012 at GABF. This India Pale Ale pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet and citrusy hops, lots and lots of citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity, some herbal as well. Decent carbonation. Nice long lasting bitterness. Crisp and clean. Nicely balanced. Very solid IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Intense bright tropical fruit. Powerfully refreshing bitterness. Lingering sweet booze. Tops.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity tropical hops, moderate bitterness, some city dankness, and faint sweetness. Good stuff.

Savor 2015. Citra and Nelson area always favorites, explains why this was so good. Nice nose, nice taste, palate medium light.

My Bottom Line:
Biscuity honeyed malts lift citrusy hops in this crisp and refined IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam protects the clear straw golden.
-The mouthfeel is engaging and conducive to great gulps.
-Hops are also herbal and a tad resinous.
-I didn’t find this one more aromatic or more flavorful than their Publican (Pale Ale), so I fail to see why I would drink this IPA instead of its less alcoholic sister.

On tap at their brewery tasting room.

2-4 oz bottle pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus and floral notes. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, lemon lime and grapefruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Very nice IPA.

Savor. Quite possibly the best IPA I have ever had the pleasure to sip. Aromas of hops of the citrus/tropical variety. Followed though in the taste, totally in balance. My only regret is that it doesn’t make it to DC.

On draught at City Beer Store. Pours a hazy yellow with moderate and retained white head. Aroma is moderate tropical and slight pine. Taste gives more of the tropical aspects, with a moderate bitterness.

Draft. Straw-colored, but hazier. Very tropical brew. Grassy nose, but a sweet fruity flavor. Passion fruit and guava are huge. Resinous backdrop, fresh grass. Sugary sweet and as quaffable as any IPA I’ve come across.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is potent with spicy green onion and earth, orange and grapefruit. The flavor is nice and super clean with citrus spice, green onion and a dry finish. Very well done.

Clear light yellow pour with a nice white head. Massive citra nose. Crisp taste, nice bitterness and a clean finish. Really good.
