Sampled on 10/13/2012 at GABF. This India Pale Ale pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet and citrusy hops, lots and lots of citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity, some herbal as well. Decent carbonation. Nice long lasting bitterness. Crisp and clean. Nicely balanced. Very solid IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft. Straw-colored, but hazier. Very tropical brew. Grassy nose, but a sweet fruity flavor. Passion fruit and guava are huge. Resinous backdrop, fresh grass. Sugary sweet and as quaffable as any IPA I’ve come across.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is potent with spicy green onion and earth, orange and grapefruit. The flavor is nice and super clean with citrus spice, green onion and a dry finish. Very well done.

Drinkable light and mellow ipa that seems to be everywhere in san diego. Pale color with white head. Aroma is fruity light citrus and mild berry fruits. Crisp and light but lacking late hop additions or dry hopping imo.

Perfect balance of the hop usage, simco and nelson seem to be a great air. Smooth caramel malt backbone to round this guy out. Super nice crips bitterness. Taste and finish of pine. One of best in SD.

[2/20/15] Draught at Societe in San Diego. Clear golden. Lovely hoppy aroma full of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor of fruity hops, tropical and citric, rather dry, with a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

draft at brewery, had a very tired hands feel to the malt bill, hoppy but balanced, nothing agressive, everything as subtle and very nice. I really like the this style of IPAs that is so common in San Diego

Tap at brewery. Pours clear yellow/gold with white head. Aroma is citrus, floral notes, pale malts, and light cereal. Flavor is a great hop blend with dry malt base and great citrus esters. Medium body.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like hop resin, dry grapefruit hops, dry pine hops, caramel, and toasted malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like hope resin, sweet grapefruit, caramel, and light pine.

Clear golden pour with a thin head. Nice dank aroma with a little citrus. Passion fruit, mango and pineapple make up the taste. Finish is juicy. Nice bitterness at the end. Medium mouth.
