jake65 (1125), Meridian, Idaho, USA Jan 24, 2007 AKA Triple Pie at Flying Pie on Fairview: Murky tan pour with a smaller head. Nose of yeast and fruits. Taste is fruity, yeast, some cloves. Very well blended flavors make this smooth and true to style. BuckeyeBoy (963), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 14, 2007 On tap Boise Flying Pie. Pours out a Hazy tan topped with a small head. aroma of some hop and yeast. Tast a little like a Hez. Pretty good overall oldrtybastrd (1512), Morlautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany May 7, 2006 Pours a hazy golden brownish color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light lemony taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor. pinkzambia (837), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 29, 2006 On Tap at Flying Pie on Fairview. They call it Triple Pie there. It really isn’t my style. Extremely thick looking. Looks like a cardboard milk shake and is about as thick as one too. It has sweet wheatty, hefeweizen-like aromas. The tase is rich and citrusy and sweet. Not for me. TheReptilian (13), Burley, Idaho, USA Apr 26, 2005 Cloudy brown, excellent Abbey Triple. I can’t believe this is an Idaho brew. Sought it out at the Fairview Flying Pie. Best Idaho beer I’ve tried for sure.
