This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."

12 oz can from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a large cream-colored ice cream float-looking head with excellent retention; after it recedes a little bit, some decorative lace is left behind. Aroma is toasty, crackers, piney, grapefruit, catty. Taste starts out a little sweet before a nice bitterness sets in and lingers. Body is thin for style, which is fine with me; creamy mouthfeel. Basic PacNW IPA, but very well done.

Its a liquid tree! Well balanced but hop forward with a strong pine / resin profile, pairs well against the darkesque malty body.

Got in a trade with TheFugitive. 12 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours hazy orange amber color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, lemon zest, pine, floral, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, floral, pine, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pine, floral, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity of hop flavors with a moderate malt balance under the bitterness; and zero cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great balance and complexity of hop flavors with moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

September 2012. Found this one last time I was in Boise. Amber color with a white head. Nice balance and complexity. Plenty of hops and a dry, bitter finish.

12 once can thanks to summer 13 secret santa. Nice amber pour. Good aroma. Bitter and hoppy. Good malt build. Pine. Simply a well done IPA all in all.

12 oz. can from Buckeyeboy. Thanks again! This one pours a rather dark golden orange with a stable off white head. The aroma is a good, standard piney, grapefruit, hints of caramel IPA. The flavor is the same. Good body, not too much caramel malt. Solid bitterness. Summer fruit, pine… strong finish. Nice one.

12 ponce can from Hayduke. A hazed and coppery pour. A big off whote fluffy head takes its time to fade and sticky lacing remains. A nice and clasdic west coast IPA aroma with caramel, citrus and pine. A big biting bitterness kicks in early. It is somehow multi layered bitterness. A rich feel. The hops are citrus including grapefruit with pine. Yeast is kind of bready. My only knock on this beer is that the bitterness almost over powers the flavors. It is not a shrinking violet beer.

This poured a lighter orange color with a beige head. Aroma was of orange and peachy hops, with light pine to go with it, as well as some caramel malt. Flavor was much the same, fairly bitter, but decent amount of hop flavor too it. Think this one was a bit old and still pretty solid.

Into a pint glass. Half finger of head on a cloudy, dark straw colored body. Smell is citrus and pine. Taste has a strong bitterness with mild malt. Good balance. Crisp texture with moderate carbonation and medium body. A solid IPA with a good dose of bitterness that’s balanced nicely.
