This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."

Lots of grapefruit and floral notes on the nose. Very citrusy. Some light sweetness underneath. Golden amber pour, lots of lace and a decent creamy head. Citrus - grapefruit, a good deal of this. Some floral notes. Soft malts add balance, but this is a fantastic hoppy drinkable ipa. I could only imagine if this were right off tap. 1 month old growler, but still awesome.

Draft at the brewpub. Light amber in color, drawing you in. Very well laced head, laddering down the glass. This is a yummy west coast IPA, focused on a nice citrus-blossom character. Good stuff. (#4676, 7/7/2012)

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2004 Wow! This is a great IPA. FULL of hops. Aroma is all about hops. Pours a misty orange color with just the right amount of head. Lacing stayed on the glass all the way to the end. I had this from the tap at the brewery and from a growler I took home. Flavor is very well rounded in this beer. Full of hops like an IPA should with a sweet, somewhat fruity finish. Very refreshing on the palate, not too dry, but not too think. One of the best IPAs I've had, and it's at a local brewery!

Light orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Nicely balanced. Very smooth taste despite the bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

12 oz can shared by beerpig317. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have faded hops, some citrus, some candy sweetness, mild bitterness. Would this have popped more fresh?

12 ponce can from Hayduke. A hazed and coppery pour. A big off whote fluffy head takes its time to fade and sticky lacing remains. A nice and clasdic west coast IPA aroma with caramel, citrus and pine. A big biting bitterness kicks in early. It is somehow multi layered bitterness. A rich feel. The hops are citrus including grapefruit with pine. Yeast is kind of bready. My only knock on this beer is that the bitterness almost over powers the flavors. It is not a shrinking violet beer.

Can to snifter (shared by beerpig317). Looks good; a hazy vibrant orange with thin off-white head that steadily dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells of bitter hops and sweet pale malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Maybe it’s getting a little old; seems like it’s fading.

12oz can pours a hazy orange with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose is good, standard, malty, honey, orange, pine, soap. Flavor is the same, solid, lemon, grapefruit, pine, soap, malt, honey. Bitter finish. Spot on for the style.

On tap at Sockeye. Light copper color with a nice head and small amount of lace left in the glass. Plenty of citrus and flower aroma. Real smooth taste with the hops overpowering the malt. Nice smooth finish at the back of the mouth. The is a real nice beer.

This poured a lighter orange color with a beige head. Aroma was of orange and peachy hops, with light pine to go with it, as well as some caramel malt. Flavor was much the same, fairly bitter, but decent amount of hop flavor too it. Think this one was a bit old and still pretty solid.
