3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
September 2012. Found this one last time I was in Boise. Amber color with a white head. Nice balance and complexity. Plenty of hops and a dry, bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange mostly clear body with minimal head. Buckets of fresh hops in the aroma and some bready malt. Lightly nutty and quite citrusy with medium bitterness. Medium body dry finish. Not bad.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2004 Pours a hazy amber, with a nice creamy head and great lacing. Floral and citrus hop aromas almost cover up all the malt. Well balanced flavors of malt and hops, a bit of bread comes out as well. Very delectable. Creamy palate. Damn fine IPA

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I really enjoyed this (on tap at Papa Joe’s), lots of hop flavor without the overpowering tartness. Hazy amber with a small creamy head, mild pine bitterness, abrupt finish. Enjoyable and highly drinkable.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz can from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a large cream-colored ice cream float-looking head with excellent retention; after it recedes a little bit, some decorative lace is left behind. Aroma is toasty, crackers, piney, grapefruit, catty. Taste starts out a little sweet before a nice bitterness sets in and lingers. Body is thin for style, which is fine with me; creamy mouthfeel. Basic PacNW IPA, but very well done.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught @ Harry’s - Nice 1/2" white head on a beautiful pale orange hazy pour. Aroma of hay and grapefruit with a dark sugar malt background. This is one bold IPA, floral bitterness on the front end, straight bitter on the back. The middle is a wonderfully built malty, citrusy, spring-like balance of subtle sweet and astringent sour. I was very impressed, would definitely drink again...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. See through golden orange pour with great retention. Aroma is fairly weak, mainly hinting at whichever malt is being used with a tiny blast of citrusy hops. Flavor brings it a bit more proper with a weaker malt up front and through the body, but where this gets interesting is the hop profile really kicks in RIGHT at the finish and through the end. Lots of bittered business going on. Fairly resiny. A decent example, but was hoping for a bit more per all your ratings...

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz can- Pours hazy orange with over a two finger creamy white head that leaves ice cream float like appearance. Aroma is hops man, spicy hops, pine and citrus dominate the aroma. The taste is bitter up front, resinous piney hops follow and the finish is bitter again. Body is fairly light which doesn’t bother me, carbonation is good. Overall good IPA, very sessionable if it weren’t for the 6.3%.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On Tap at brewpub: Cloudy gold with a case of lacing all over the glass. As one would expect, the aromas and tastes were hops, juniper berries with a nice, initial bitter-taste. The feel is creamy and pleasant. Perhaps, the best Idaho micro IPA.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank from growler at the RBSG 2004. Golden, hazy. Rather flat and underhopped. Some minor citrus fruits but unremarkable.
