This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."

12 ponce can from Hayduke. A hazed and coppery pour. A big off whote fluffy head takes its time to fade and sticky lacing remains. A nice and clasdic west coast IPA aroma with caramel, citrus and pine. A big biting bitterness kicks in early. It is somehow multi layered bitterness. A rich feel. The hops are citrus including grapefruit with pine. Yeast is kind of bready. My only knock on this beer is that the bitterness almost over powers the flavors. It is not a shrinking violet beer.

Pretty good. Definitely northwest style. Bitter but finished a little sweet yet dry. Good stuff. Smell and appearance are what you expect for the style. No problems with it. Just not my favorite style of IPA.

12 oz can shared by beerpig317. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have faded hops, some citrus, some candy sweetness, mild bitterness. Would this have popped more fresh?

Can to snifter (shared by beerpig317). Looks good; a hazy vibrant orange with thin off-white head that steadily dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells of bitter hops and sweet pale malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Maybe it’s getting a little old; seems like it’s fading.

Can. Cloudy amber pour with white head that leaves good lacing. Nice Pine aroma. Robust malty backbone with a pretty bitter finish. Good west coast style IPA.

Fresh can from Syndicate. Aroma is dank, pine, moss. Taste is bitter...resin, lemon. Hops are prevalent here. Long bitter finish as advertised. Reminds me of a Stone brew without the aging. Good representative of the style.

12oz can pours a hazy orange with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose is good, standard, malty, honey, orange, pine, soap. Flavor is the same, solid, lemon, grapefruit, pine, soap, malt, honey. Bitter finish. Spot on for the style.

Type: Draft Glass: 23-oz. glass From: Old Chicago in Boise, Idaho Price: $5 (happy hour) Purchased: Dec. 18, 2013 Consumed: Dec. 18, 2013 Misc.: N/A Poured a caramel orange murky color with two fingers of khaki white head when I got it. Tons of thick foamy lacing on the sides. Great retention all the way down. Smelled citrus hops, grapefruit, tangerine, orange, floral hops and sweet caramel. Very good overall. Tasted similar to the nose. Got bitter grapefruit (citrus) hops, orange, caramel, Cascade hops and floral hops. Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Bitter finish. Just a very good beer. Boise definitely has some good beer.

Can poured a hazy golden amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, orange zest, peach, grapefruit and light mint. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

12 ounce can thanks to buckeyeboy. Thanks! Pours a hazed copper with a big white head of foam. Aroma is herbal and citrussy. Smells really nice. Some pine bitterness comes out in the taste and really dries the beer out. The aroma is where this beer really shines.
