This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."

Lots of grapefruit and floral notes on the nose. Very citrusy. Some light sweetness underneath. Golden amber pour, lots of lace and a decent creamy head. Citrus - grapefruit, a good deal of this. Some floral notes. Soft malts add balance, but this is a fantastic hoppy drinkable ipa. I could only imagine if this were right off tap. 1 month old growler, but still awesome.

tap at brewpub August 2012-man, this place is crazy!! It was Boise State Football night so everybody in the place was going nuts! Pours dark orange with a hint of haze with a small eggshell fluffy head. nose is piney woody hops straight up C hops. Flavors follow suit-tons of pine, resin and lasting speriment like bitterness. damn this is bitter-lasts forever! Very dry and lush body with nice carbonation. I love the huge pine here-very much my type of IPA. Textbook example here! Awesome!

Comes out of the tap an attractive, somewhat hazy dark amber. I’m not sure about the head, since the server didn’t allow for much of one, but it did leave some scattered lacing. Aroma is strongly hoppy and evergreen with an undertone of sour orange. Flavor is evergreen hoppy, like any really good IPA, and has a sour citrus undertone that is mainly orange with hints of grapefruit. Texture is quite fizzy and edgy, leaving a nice hoppy tingle.

3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is extremely citrusy with a somewhat grassy backbone; sweet malt is just barely noticeable. Appearance is hazy gold with a moderate maintained off white head. Flavor is tangy as well, but not as strong as the aroma. Here the earthy and grassy flavors come through easier, as well as a respectable sweet pale malt background that balnces nicely. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light spritzy carb feel. Overall, complex and well balanced, a must try for someone who loves more citrusy than harsh IPAs.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2008 On tap at the NABA festival 2008 and recommended by Jordan. Pours a light orange with a touch of red and a very nice thick white head. The aroma is full of hops, both pine and grapefruit like, and some light honey. The flavor was bursting out, a smooth and sweet hops that has a ton of flavor and meshes well with the light malt and other flavors. A definite stand out beer. Quality IPA.
