COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."
IBU: 100 13º Lovibond 77% AA 15º Plato.
Available on tap and canned.

I really enjoyed this (on tap at Papa Joe’s), lots of hop flavor without the overpowering tartness. Hazy amber with a small creamy head, mild pine bitterness, abrupt finish. Enjoyable and highly drinkable.

Can from Brewforia. Pours orange gold with an off-wite head. Aroma seems strong mix of citrus and resin. Med body. Flavor is really strong resin/citrus hop over a somewhat roasty caramel base. It finishes dry and bitter. Pretty hoppy ale!

1/2" foamy white head has very nice retention and lacing... the brew is a hazed orange. I can easily smell this brew 2 feet away... pungent pithy citrus... minor pale malt with even a little bit of toasty presence... but this brew is all about the hops... unapologetic. Huge bitterness... oily citrus zest... lite pale malts mid palate along with the noted toasty malt element... finishes long and hoppy... really pretty dry throughout.... Honestly, the only "real" bitch I could even remotely come up with is the bitterness up front may be a touch high... but I would never complain. I forgot how much I like this one... Any NW IPA lover would certainly put this into their rotation if they had access.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance had a shaded orange to copper color with a glazed over brownish tints closer to the center of the glass. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there. The smell had a sharp grapefruit to citrus (slightly tropical and enticing) with a light pine weaving it’s way in the aroma. The taste was pure bittersweet arranging a nice orange flavoring to come out nicely. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good acceptable sharpness normally tasted in an AIPA coming from the Northwest. Overall, pretty good AIPA that I would definitely have again.

Can courtesy of Brooke (thanks!). Copper pour, frothy off-white. Aroma of fresh hop, grapefruit, pine. Tastes are evergreen, orange, grapefruit, woody. Little dry in the finish. Great balance, very nice.

I have to agree I had this one back in July and did not have the pleasure of drinking it out of a proper glass. This is a great tasting beer going down, not to heavy and not to light, but just right. Very hoppy and citrusy, if you liked SN Celebration you will definitely like this.

On Tap at brewpub: Cloudy gold with a case of lacing all over the glass. As one would expect, the aromas and tastes were hops, juniper berries with a nice, initial bitter-taste. The feel is creamy and pleasant. Perhaps, the best Idaho micro IPA.

Draft: Dark orange / amber pour with a nice frothy head. Solid blend of floral and citrus hops, a little bit of pine, and some malts to balance. A well done IPA from Sockeye!

Draught @ Kahootz: Fiery golden, fairly clear, moderate off-white head, nice lacing, light carbonation.   Good strong hop nose, very slight earth aspect.   Good balance of hops and malt on the tongue, earthy, a little soily, otherwise good old citrus bitterness.   Fairly full bodied, flavor lasts from start to finish.   Not whimpy and yet not raw.   Solid example!

Draught @ Harry’s - Nice 1/2" white head on a beautiful pale orange hazy pour. Aroma of hay and grapefruit with a dark sugar malt background. This is one bold IPA, floral bitterness on the front end, straight bitter on the back. The middle is a wonderfully built malty, citrusy, spring-like balance of subtle sweet and astringent sour. I was very impressed, would definitely drink again...
