This medal winning pale ale is a rich pale-amber ale with a deep copper color. It has a pleasant ale-like fruitiness with medium hop flavor and aroma. "Dive In!"

Out of the can and into a pint glass; orange, hazy and bubbly; the head is only a whiter shade of the brew itself. Almost no aroma. The finish is bitter and unpleasant. Not going back.

Another seemingly expired beer that really really sucked. If they want to get into the market, serving crap beer at Canfest ain’t the way to go. No redeeming qualities here. One of the worst craft beers of 2014 so far.

Average, but tasty pale ale from Sockeye. Hazy orange amber with medium creamy head. Aroma is very faint hops, taste has sharp hops bite with a metallic finish.

12oz can picked up tonight and poured into my Cigar City Teku... 2 finger foamy off white head.... great retention and lacing atop a fairly hazy orange brew. Aroma is nice mix of citrus/floral hoppiness with toasty caramel malts... good dose of ale fruitiness. Flavor mirrors the aroma with a significant amount of toasted bready notes and touches of sweetness... not overly hoppy at all.. just nicely balanaced. The body is thicker than I remember at the brewpub .... maybe because I let this warm up quite a bit... nice earthy/citrusy finish. Nothing about this beer is Earth shattering, but it still is very solid. Cheers to Josh and the boys at Sockeye.

On tap, pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold, nice head and lots of lacing. Nose is a bit malty, a bit doughy, some hop and dry grass. Crisp taste, a good mix of malt and hop and pine straw, clean finish. solid beer.

Can, thanks Darrel! Mostly transparent amber with nice white head. Nice citrus aroma. Thin watery mouthfeel. Moderately bitter finish.

12 oz can- Pours a very hazy dark orange with a one finger white head that reduces, massive amounts of sediment, if i could redo I would not have poured the last ounce. The aroma is nice and citrusy, some pine resin, spicy. The taste is very smooth and creamy, delicious hoppy character, solid malt backbone, but a hopped up pale for sure, resinous and fruity. Solid beer.

12 oz can from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is doughy, chalky, lemony. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white collapsing head; leaves a ring of foam and some lace. Taste is better than the aroma let on. It has the right amount of bitterness (which for me is a lot) backed by subdued sweet malt. Citrusy and doughy flavors. Prickly carbonation, medium body. Really nice pale ale.

Very resinous aroma and first taste, pronounced dry hop herbal flavor leading to a bitter finish, a little dusty.

Draft at the brewpub. Appears a dark bronze to my eye, with a sticky if not quite well-bodied head. Pretty hoppy, delivering a nice acidic burn amidst a light malt backdrop. Solid. (#4675, 7/7/2012)
