Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. As Sockeye Seasonal Lager Maibock. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a bit of fruity hints and and alcoholic touch. Sweetish flavor, toasty, malty, with caramel, and a bitterish in the finish. Medium-bodied.

16 ounce can, just listed as maibock. Pours a dark ruby color with a small white head. A light fruity nose with some caramel. Flavorful: rich ripe fruits, strawberries, some dusty sweet malts, dark caramel and toffee. Earthy dry finish. Good.

16oz can picked up at The Grapevine, labeled as Seasonal Lager Maibock
Pours clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee and ripe fruit. Flavors of toasted malts, grainy, toffee and nutty with a mild bitterness in the finish
Nice and tasty.

Dark maple syrup, light off-white head. Nose of rich malt and earthy hops. The flavor has a massive body with a little sweetness and alcohol presence. Nutty finish with a reinforcement of the large body. Thick drinking (chewy), I could only have a couple of these. Maybe more hops? I don’t know.

Pours a dark hazy brown color. Aromas of bread, malt, and some fruit. Flavor has a touch of sweet malt and clove, I think. Overall, not to bad.

From a growler purchased at Pauls Grocery in McCall, ID. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Nose of caramel malts and light fruit. Medium plus in body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is big on the malts but there are some grassy and floral hops there in the finish along with some bitterness.. Pretty darn good.

Reddish amber color out of the can with a creamy off white head. Big malty nose with some alcohol in it. Caramel sweetness with some peaty notes, dried fruit and dusty malts. A bit of earthy bitterness in the finish and more prominent alcohol as it warms.

Can in Ogden and yes I am aware that I am drinking a Maibock in January but with UT’s crazy liquor laws it is hard to find unique beers. Pours a nice caramel color with a bubbly tan head that settles slowly. Cereal and toast in the aroma. Roasted malt dominates the flavor but not overly sweet and balanced with a light hint of hops. Enjoyable.
