on tap once and from a growler once. This one pours out a light gold topped with a white head. Aroma light hops and grain. Tast more grain and more of the light hop bitterness. Not bad.

On Tap at the BrewPub. Served ice cold, pelucid light yelllow with a nice dense of whie head. Light grainand corn aroma. Fresh pale barley flavor with a bit vegetative corn notes again. A bot bitter for the style but anything for flaavor I guess. Light and clean, but I actually liked this sample of a style that I usually don’t give a second look. Pleasantly surprised.

Sockeye Brewers Whim Lager 5 3 10 4 4 26 3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is almost nonexistant, with only a very faint noble hop note coming through. Appearance is very clear yellow with a well maintained white head. Flavor is quite earthy with noble hops dominating, but not strong. Maltiness balances the hops, but is too sour and lacks sweetness. Mouthfeel is very low bodied with a spritzy carb feel. Overall, not too impressive; definitely needs to be sweeter.

Growler: Gold, pellucid, light head and lacing. Nose of light crisp hops, thin malts, pale and light. Biscuity mouthfeel, bitter tail, grassy and thin finish. Fairly clean for a brewpub macro clone.

Growler: Pours a bright yellow color with an ample white head. Lagery malt nose, lagery malt taste. Hints of corn and grass. Light on bitters.
