[keg, SBWF2012] First of four Södra beers I sampled at SBWF, chatting to the guys behind the brewery. As a Brit, the ESB was the one I went straight for. Pours hazy copper colour with a large white head. Nice aroma of sweet caramel and toffee, some grassy hop and light fruit. Similar flavours, with caramel coming over more on the finish. It does lack a bit of body for 5.5%, but tasted really nice, all the same

Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, citrus and toffee. Mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite drinkable, but lacking something extra.
