KnutAlbert (2322), Oslo, Norway Aug 6, 2007 50 cl can. Fine brown colour, nice malty aroma, but it is way too sweet. More hops would be a great help. SaintMatty (515), Tallinn, Estonia Jun 4, 2008 500ml Can - Copper coloured with a foamy head.Friuity aroma with a bit of maple syrup and sticky toffee pudding. Bittersweet taste at first but it then becomes more sweet. The sticky toffee appears again along with some more roasted flavours. It has a strange aftertaste after each sip which seems to fade quickly. Not as bad as I was expecting. raymondwave (797), Finland Apr 17, 2007 Fresh, flowery and malty nose. Surprisingly tasty, thick mouthfeel. Malty, a little sweet, maybe the bisquits/cookies. Yet there is something a little rotten there. Couldn’t find the same dry paperness as with the lager version. Not as bad as I thought actually, but I’m not sure I’ll get one again. There are so many better ones. FatPhil (2362), Espoo, Finland Apr 3, 2008 500ml can (K market)
Bold reddy brown, tiny head. Sweet fruity aroma, a bit of caramel or golden syrup. A bit fizzy in the mouth, a bit watery too. Sweet and a little sickly initial taste, more caramel, and it mellows there’s some roasted malts, but there’s something a bit odd about it. Not unpleasant my any means, but a bit of an insult to proper ales. Sadly lacking in hops for a start. Finish is sweet caramel malt. liinis (481), Finland Apr 25, 2008 small white head. amber brown clear. quite sweet and a bit fizzy (which is bad) and watery. creamy ale? where’s the ale and creamyness?
