Pours deep, muddy orange-yellow with a fine, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, fresh, good exotic fruitiness. Lovely creamy mouthfeel. Elegant flavour, lots of fruit, apple, pineapple, lightly vinious. Lovely tripel - Søgaard! make more beers like this! NOW!

Bottled (as Borglum Kloster Bispens Trippel). Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruit, caramel, some alcohol as well a mild gluelike sweetness. Flavour is fruity, alcoholic, some caramel and mild yeasty and spicy notes along to it.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Hazy yellow colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, yeast, hops and fruit.

Bottle. Clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is coriander, clove, caramel and sweet malt. Spicy and yeasty flavour with notes of sweet caramel. Long sweet finish. Light boozy.

Hazy light orange beer with a very promising floral aroma.
Taste is yeasty, sweet and hoppy, but unfortunately the floral hops are overdone and may even seem a little artificial. If they were a little more subdued this would be a really good tripel. The beer hides the high ABV completely. Creamy and full body.

Unclear light to medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, fruity, moderate yeasty, spicy, ginger - coriander. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090516]

Flaske: Orange øl, uklar med et lille skumhoved. Tydelig belgisk i sit udtryk, men alternativt krydret. Primært kanel i både duft og smag. Fungerer udmærket. God øl.
