2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. A hazy, golden beer topped by a small off-white head. Origanum and basil, a hint of cloves maybe, and caramel maltyness on the nose. The flavor is pretty much the same, caramel topped by herbs and spices. Medium to full body and a herbal finish. A quite decent beer, probably in need of some food, but on it’s own it’s to herbal for me. 100213

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 19 June 2010) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of herbs (basil, sage, sweet gale) and citrus. Fruity, spicy taste with citrus, herbs (oregano, basil, sage), hints of washing-up liquid and a slightly bittersweet finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Very herbal. Weird beer, but drinkable.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Nice ehad with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are dominated by spices. This beer really lives up to its style. The spices are oregano, thyme, tarragon and basil, but there is also honey, malt and hops in this beer. All in all a little on the odd side.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with an off-white head. Massive oregano and thyme aroma. Hmm… not sure I’m really into this. Sweetish and tart notes in the background. Can’t help but thinking of breadsticks every time I put my nose in the glass. Flavour is equally an oregano/thyme-assault on the senses, but for some reason it becomes rather vermouth-like here (!). Weird. Bitter finish with some hop notes in between the remainder of the oregano. Overall, this is actually a well-made beer as such, but what can I say… I’m just not into oregano and thyme in beer! 04.06.10.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drayght. Unclear brown. Quite spiced (oregano, thyme, pepper) aroma with caramel. Ok mouthfeel. Spiced (oregano, thyme, basil) caramel flavour with toasted malt. Interesting, good for cooking a pig roast or with pizza... but not by itself.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, bought @ Barley Wine, Cph.
Pours hazy golden with a medium, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is powerful. Lots of spices, oregano, ginger, thyme and some woody notes. Sweetish malt base behind it. Medium carbonation, fine and slightly oily mouthfeel. Spicy dryness. Flavour has a balanced sweetness, quite crispy malts. Very dry spicy mid-section with oregano, thyme and basil. Elderflower notes and a hint of honey. Long, dry aftertaste. Special and the kind of experiments that I like (unlike many RB-ians).

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/ golden amber colour with a slightly off white head, that looks fairly frothy. But it settles more like a lacing. Aroma is full of spice. Pretty much doimnated by the oregano and basil, but i get a faint aroma of malt aswell. The flavor is also very spiced, you moslty get the oregano and basil. I also get a slight citrus hoppy note, when the beer first hits my tounge. I also get some pepper in the finish. The body is light to medium with a fair amount of carbonation. Overall a beer that is very spicy/herbal, and reminds one alot of pizza. Not the best beer in the world but worth checking out.
