Pours a bright yellow, hazy with medium/low head. Aroma is a sweet honey, somewhat fruity and malty. Low carbonation with a fruity/malty body. Aftertaste is somewhat dryer and bitter but very short. Average beer that could use a little more of everything.

Kita (1042) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 4, 2013
Draught, 0.33l. Slight murky golden color with small creamy white head, good lacing and almost flat visible carbonation. Aroma of mild malt, honey and herbal hops. Taste starts with fresh, but not sweet maltiness, followed by light honey sweetness and finished strong bitter. Medium body, slick texture and soft natural carbonation in palate. Just as average as expected, far from bad, of course...

Bottle. Hazy light golden with a small head. Crisp aroma of grainy-bready malt, hops, hay, mild citrus, butter and honey. Full malty body, taste guided by malt with some citrus and honey, not too much hops but well balanced, light herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A great offering from Slovenia!

11/11/10/8/8/10

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle at the microbrew restaurant in Ljubljana. Comes accross like a wheat beer. Pronounced orange and citrus bitterness - pleasanty so. Clean finish. Refreshing.

Bottle. Sweet strawberry/lemon malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with large head. Sweet berry malt and lightly bitter hay hops flavor. Nice body. Very fruity - a very good and unusual beer.

Bottle - 500ml at Gostilna Sokol (Ljubljana, Slovenia). Hazy blond body with low carbonation and a fair white creamy/foamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with flowery, citrusy, and yeasty hints. Taste is well balanced and carries piney notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

500ml swingtop bottle at Sokol resturant, Ljubljana, Slovenia This is considered their "house beer", and was very much looking forward to trying it. Hazy orange body, with small inpersisant ring of white foam. Aroma is bit towards the odd side; honey sweetness, clove, stewed apple, and overly ripe banana. Low carbonation, soapy texture, body is a bit on the lean side. More honeyish malt flavours on the body, odd peppery phenolics and clove. Overly ripe banana and pear esters linger on a drying finish. Certainly a unique beer, i’m somehow reminded of a homebrewed wheat beer of sorts; it’s part one thing, part another. I have a feeling it’s could inconsistant in quality/flavour but well worth a try.
