Has a sparkling gold hue and exciting aroma and flavor of malt.

Clear pale golden with a white quickly dissipating foam with no lacings. Aroma is old corn, pale malt... I think, very vague. Taste is light malt, water, over-cooked vegetables and corn. Ends wattery. Light body, soft carbo. No real complaints except it is as interesting as a glass of water.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Mild smell of canned corn and a hint of articifial malt. Very mild taste, close to carbonated water. Actually not horrible, it’s just very boring to drink. It is probably drinkable on a warm mexican beach. But back home I could just as well drink water.

It poured a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of corn and grains. The taste was of the same with some malt.

Aroma of malt & bread. Clear pale golden with large long lasting white head. Almost no taste at all. Very light body, thin texture & soft carbonation.

See through pale, almost colourless beer with white head lasting quite well. Aroma has skunked hops, butter and hay. Almost flavorless, dry with cardboard. Thin and watery. Finish is dry with almost no bitterness. Totally unpleasant.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma has a light, sweet graininess with medium light corn and faint fruit esters. Hints of diacetyl and skunking, less skunk that I would expect but this bottle did come from a box. light vegetable note. Pours a very clear, yellow gold with a medium sized, somewhat frothy head that steadily recedes to a small film. Moderate lacing with faint legs. Flavor is fairly similar to aroma with light graininess and medium light corn notes with some sweetness. Light diacetyl and sulfur with medium light floral esters. Light bitterness. Not much skunking, but a hint of vegetable matter. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty bland and boring beer, but it was free and it is Friday. The malt character is flabby with and dominated by corn. Less skunked than I was expecting which is a pleasant surprise.

From a bottle. Pours clear pale yellow, not much on the aroma or flavour front but not terrible.

355 ml clear bottle bought at ParkNShop SuperStore in Fanling.

Clear pale golden amber colour; Half-finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Sweet and slightly pungent aroma of light malt, with corn syrup, light floral, light wet paper, soggy bread and thin grass; Very light sweet taste of thin malt, with strong grains, rice, light wet cardboard, thin syrup, light bread, very light lemon and shades of grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is American macro Pale, with thin body but fair light-weight malt and lots of adjunct grains. Restrained light sweetness, light wet paper is tolerable. Fair light bread and very low hops. Not as bad as I feared… Hoppiness is thin grass nose, lemon and grass notes in taste. No bitterness, just thin malt and wet paper non-finish; Wet after taste. Very easy to mouth.

Comments: This one may have a bad rep, but I think it’s quite a so-so macro, which is slightly better than Budweiser and definitely better than Dos Equis XX - malt is light but it’s there, adjunct and wet paper taste is low and tolerable, and very low sweet (that’s what I like). Without the hops, maybe a wedge of lime may actually do this one some justice. Borderline drinkable.
