Pale yellow beer with a minimal white head. Sourish aroma of rice and corn, some yeast, minimal grassy-straw hop. Weak body with taste of straw, boiled rice, some sweet corn. Another mexican Coronita style one...

One of my favorite mass produced, readily available trendy Mexibeer. Too bad it still rots. Same thing everyone else has said...pale yellow, watery, grassy, stinks, fizzy, flat aftertaste, blah blah blah blah. Once again, thanks goes out to the original tourists for forcing the locals to put a lime in their beers so they didn’t reach of a glass for tap water and Imodium...

Clear golden colored beer, thus it’s name Sol which means sun in Spanish. Very light body with a hint of hops. In South TX it is common to add a lime and at times some salt to the beer to give it more flavor. Ideal for very hot summer days especially when temperatures top 95+ degrees and you want a cold and refreshing beer that won’t sit to heavy on your palate. Not the best of the mexican beers but not a bad choice either.

Bottle - Cosco mix pack. Sol or Tecate?? What is the difference? I drank these one after the other and can’t tell the difference. I give them both a 2 for flavor because I do taste some hops after the beer sat there and warmed up a little. Palete OK. I’m not sure if they even us malt in this beer; rice and corn sugar?? Not impressed!

Clear bottle: Skunked grain smell. Clear yellow no head. Flavorless. It will get you drunk, but will give you no pleasure on the way. Detestable. I like to reserve goose eggs for truly awful beers, but I can’t for the life of me find anything positive to say about this. Ingredients: Water, grain alcohol, Yellow #5

12oz bottle. Pours bright yellow with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of pungent corn, cereal grain, and metallic yeast. Taste is mostly corn with a faint amount of bitterness. Thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. Commodity lager for thoughtless consumption.
