12 oz bottle. This is my favorite Mexican beer. Poured a clear yellow with a two finger white head. The aroma was grainy, with a bit of corn. The flavor was sweet grains with a grassy finish.

[330ml bottle at Revolutions, Reading] Managed to avoid getting the obligatory wedge of lime in it, so I could actually taste the beer, even though my gut feel said this was a bad idea. Pours the usual pale gold with a moderate foamy white head, moderate carbonation. As bland as you’d expect - what flavour there is is dominated by sickly sweet candy-sguar and sweetcorn. Some nasty metallics lurking in the background too. I can see why it’s served with the lime. SImply ghastly.

Appearance: Pours a clear, bronze-colored body with a tall, white head. Smell: Grainy, cheap malts with a light waft of skunk and more than a whiff of yellow corn and chemical additives. Taste: Substandard, stale, grainy light pale malts with a light sweetness. Icky chemical soaked corn. Light hop bitterness. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Dreadful and quite sol-crushing. Some of these mass-produced lagers can be quite serviceable, some just bland and forgettable, and some are downright awful. Sadly, Sol is one of those awful, awful lagers.

Better than I had expected. Probably the best of the cheap Mexican beers I’ve tried.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with no head. Aroma is malts, rice, and corn. Flavor is corn. Add a lime and its better. Very watery body and taste.

A 0.33L bottle from local S.Market. Mild nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Pale hey coloured. Mild waterly taste.

330ml bottle from the LCBO Pours an darkish amber not bad for a pale lager with a samll whit head Smells and tastes pretty much like watered down water Still better than corona though

From a bottle poured clear golden color with a small head. Nice light flavor, alittle watery with no finish.
