Sol is a beer you drink when you cant find anything else (common situation in mexico). Pale lager, bitter aftertaste, very little head. Even a mere 36 pesos for a 6 pack is a rip off. However I did find that Sol Brava (higher alcohol content, darker bottle) is slightly more agreeable.

Bottle. High fluffy white but very quickly disappearing head. Clear golden body. Sweet corn aroma. Very sweet liquid with little hops bitterness and astonishingly much carbonation. No aftertaste.

downender (4186) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2007
Bottle. Pale yellow with a slight, scummy head. No aroma to speak of. Flavour was pretty much undetectable as well aside from a hint of corn. No wonder it normally comes with a slice of lime. Awful.

Standard Mexican pale lager. Not much taste, plenty of carbonation, no aroma, looks like urine.

bottle. small, white, fizzy head (dissapates fully very quickly) into clear hay colored body. aroma is of corn. flavor is very much like water with a bit of sour. I was hoping for more, but I did not get that.
