Sol was the featured beer @ Tony’s Cafe in North Wildwood, NJ for two bucks a bottle. At that price I had to try one...I would drink this over Corona just to be different.

I gave the appearance a 3 for the cool painted bottle. Under no condition should this be consumed without a key lime floating in it. You could drink worse.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Boutip (3294) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 27, 2006
Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color beer with a small bubbly head with very little retention. Aroma of corn and adjunct is totally dominating and not very interesting. Taste is bland and boring with some corn being sensible and for the rest it is mostly watery. Just another boring pale lager I guess.

Light golden color, fizzy & flat head which hang around at all, nose full of corn & stale barley, very flat flavors with just about nothing to offer, aftertaste of lightly carbonated water, you might as well just drink water instead of this
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2006
12 oz clear glass bottle. Pours very light crystal clear straw yellow with low carbonation, thin head that fades to nothing. Aroma is cracker malts, light herbal hops slight metallic, and slight fruity cardboard. Flavor is prettty bland but lgith metal cardboard, dms and light corn taste. Very watered down and actually quite hard to drink. I made it through about 1/2 of the bottle. Ech.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 larsga (4431) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2006
Small white head shrinks into thin ring. Yellow body with a greenish tinge. Sugary caramel aroma with buttery notes. Taste is buttery malts with some bitterness. Dry grainy aftertaste. Stale buttery taste lingers. This is no good. (0.33l bottle.)

Typical Mexican Swill. If you need to put lemon or lime in your beer to make it drinkable just put it away.
