Light golden with a whtie head settling to a thin lace. Smells and tastes bland with a faint lime character. Bread, corn and grain dominate. A little skunky too. Palate is very light and watery with poor carbonation that leaves it bordering on flat. It is quite a boring beer that is very bland and unadventurous. Avoid or if you must then drink from the bottle with a wedge of lime. - - - - - abarwithnoname.wordpress.com

Pale golden/straw colored pour. The aroma is very light. A touch of hay and some light green apple. No hop bitterness at all. Very light palate. Tastes like very little.

Clear golden without head. Aroma is weak with notes of corn and straw. Flavor is medium sweet. Very thin bodied and watery. Bland. 280810

Loose 12 oz. bottle, $1.50 @ Binny’s. Of course it’s skunky when I open it. Pours frothy, at least a decent pale gold color. Corn sweetness is up front. Bit of a hop bitterness, but not enough. There are better and cheaper lawnmower beers, and others that would go better with Mexican dining.

It pours a super clear and light gold, with a 2 finger light head that has decent staying power. The aroma is light lime and hops with skunk, not much there. The taste is super light and skunky. Its really bad with hardly any flavor but skunk. Mouthfeel is super light and not drinkable

Skunky garbage even served at freezer temp. If you end up with a Sol you are S.O.L.

12 oz clear glass long neck bottle with a silk-screened label with no freshness date. Pale yellow colour, very clear. The white lace sticks and stays a bit but not long enough. Big corn grit aroma with faint fusel alcohols. Big bitey mouth feel from a flat out dominant corn grit and grain husk flavour. Hop bitterness rides this and actually intensifies it in the middle for an astringently bittern flavour. Dry and grainy finish. Just like Corona, needs a lime … any beer that needs a lime is not worth drinking. A definite sub-premium lager.

A: The beer pours a crystal clear yellow color with a very small white head but some vigorous carbonation bubbles. S: Smells like corn, a lot of corn, with some toasted grain. Fairly grassy with a mild bitterness. There is a definite "foot" smell to it, and not in a good way (like you sometimes find in lambic). T: Tastes like sweet corn or perhaps corn syrup. There’s some rice in there too, I think. The grain flavor is sort of burnt and quite unpleasant. Surprisingly not skunky considering it was in a clear bottle. It just doesn’t taste good, though. M: The body is light with a medium level of carbonation. D: Not something I’d really care to have again. Luckily it was free to me, so I can’t really complain about the tick too much.
