I tried this beer on January 27, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a generous rocky snow white head. The aroma was grainy malt, and a hint of floral hops. The mouthfeel is water, very watery with almost no carbonation. The flavour is non-existent...literally...not a hint of grains or bitterness, just sweet water.

Tried this in Mexico last fall. We were on a tour on the Yucatan Peninsula and beer and tapas were included. I don’t think we have it in my area because I’ve never seen it before, but I surely wouldn’t search it out. Basically yellow water, but hey, at least I didn’t have to drink the water.

Not good. Slight notes of some hay, but really just water, carbonation, touch of alcohol. Good with lime and salt, so that it tastes only like lime and salt. Stay away, there are much better mexican lagers.

Otherwise known as median piss. This is the lowest of all mexican beers. If ur 10 deep this is ok to drink

Apperance: very light gold, perfectly clear, virtually nonexistent head. Aroma: hint of watery grains and lemons, some grass. Taste: water, a bit of sweet grain, hint of hay. Finish: none. Notes: Fine for having with very spicy Mexican food if you don’t trust the water. Really, it tastes more like sparkling water than beer.

Dull yellow in colour and little head. Aroma is lucklustre with the faintest hint of malt. Taste is mildy grainy but lacks anything worth mentioning and forget about aftertaste. Really, unless you’re dying for a beer and they don’t have much else, skip it. You’re actually better off with the lime!

From a 330ml bottle on 7/1/2011. Has the faintest aroma of malt and nothing else. Neglible flavour as well. Horrible beer, which could only be consumed with any enthusiasm with the obligatory Corona inspired slice of lemon or lime.

330 ml Pullo. Vaalean kultainen väri. Valkoista vaahtoa muodostuu jonkin verran. Maissinen ja hieman tunkkainen aromi. Maissinen ja pahvinen maku. Hiilihappoja on kohtalaisesti, mutta Sol on silti erittäin vetinen olut. Päällimmäisenä olevat maut ja aromit ovat lähinnä epämiellyttäviä.
