Has a sparkling gold hue and exciting aroma and flavor of malt.

Corona's poor cousin. It tries hard to be as light and tasty as corona but doesn't quite make it. A light flavour and good colour make for easy drinking on a hot day but nothing too special.

I was very impressed with this beer. Like Corona though, it's not complete without a lime. Get one whole lime for a six pack. I like this better than Corona, and made a great impression on me. The packaging is quite appealing too.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2003 Geez. This is a little better than Corona, I guess. Tastes very adjunctly like rice or corn etc. No hops, very watery. Another notch on my world beer appreciation staff.

As pictured. Faint aroma of corn. Taste almost not even there, except for adjuncts. Bleah.

quite an accomplishment that they managed to make this so flavourless, most land beers have atinge of nastiness but this has no tinge of anything. faint yellow, can't believe the finish, you would not know you were drinking beer. quite an accomplishment

bfgill has it exactly right ... not much for me to add. Just plain nasty. Makes other mass market Mexican beers like Corona seem marvelous. Skunky water sounds exactly right ... if it weren't for bad flavors, it would have no flavor at all. No redeeming features. Less than the sum of its parts. Awful. Lawnmower beer? I'm not sure what that means but I wouldn't make a good piece of machinery deal with anything this bad.

A nice glass of water, a bit on the skunky side though. It has no flavour other than something that doesnt taste like it should really be in beer. Stay away. cheers

Clear yellow, short head. Very watery aroma, bit skunky hop maybe. Very weak, bit bitter taste. Typical mexican pilsener.

PGC under a medium size medium lasting white head. Avoids being a 1/5 for looks by generating a couple of reasonable lace rings. Very very faint soapy stale malt and hops aroma. Medium light soapy body. Mildest of mild malt and soda water flavours. Faded hint of sweet rice and stale bitter aftertaste. The one positive thing about it was that at least it was not skunky.

i think crit says it best about this one. astonishingly devoid of flavour apart from a very very faint taste of soggy boiled rice, and a tiny bit of malt. the strange thing is the aroma. if you really have a good sniff and say "buttered toast" to yourself enough times, you can smell it in there. overall better than corona but so what.
