Yellowish, it almost looks like weater. No aroma to be found, and flavor maybe brings some sweetness. Probably a popular beer on the beaches on hot sunny days, but I agree with ompher. Whats wrong with mineral water?

Straw yellow and clear. Mild skunk aroma. Clean and refreshing. Grassy and gassy. Modest roasted malts. Weak and watery. One of the better mex. imports. Must have been a fresh batch.

Ok broke down and bought a 12 oz for oldtimes sake. Sounds strange butin late 1980s, early 90s Scottish nightclubs this was THE Mexican beer , Corona hardly ever heard of. So I had not tasted this since circa 1991..and now Im gonna do the ultimate dare and actually drink it without lime!!!. Not too bad of an appearance a nice golden colour, largish pure white head..goes fast, little lacing. Smell is remarkably not skunked and is mainly of hops. expected more from the taste but its very thin..and only comes alive on the back of the tonguewith a small doise of hop. NOt impressed by the feel of the beer..way too thin. Its drinkable and certainlly much better than Corona..ah well but i can wait another 13 years until I have another.

Isn't this just the "lemon" to Corona's "lime"? There's not much difference between the two... both light and virtually tasteless.

Drinkable if you can't get water and you need something bland. Pale in every way.

Bottle at Dusseldor'f restaurant in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. A small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was transparent and softly carbonated with a yellow hue. The nose was very skunky with a malt flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth, watery and thin. This was a light bodied beer with no lacing.
