2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Mixed 12-pack of Mexican beer from grocery. Pale yellow, clear with lots of carbonation and thin/filmy head. Light corn smell, very minimal. Watery with a slight corny taste. Light body with a thin texture a slight aftertaste. Nothing to right home about (assuming your in Mexico!)
I added a lime after the first 1/4, which helped to at least provide a bit of flavor (re: Corona).

Bottle. Golden (or piss) colored. Not really aromatic. Watery taste of malt and grain. Artificial and boring, but also refreshing.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2014 Bland. Watery. Boring. Credit for being clean, easy drinking, and inoffensive. Went nice enough on a warm afternoon and a spicy sandwich. Would take this over most macro pale lagers.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle served in an ordinary glass.
A: Pours a clear and bright yellow color forming a medium bubbled white head. Low retention and few lacing left
S: Sweet. Adjunct malts, mainly corn. Some flowery hops in the very end
T: Sweet upfront, again, lots of corn. Watery as hell. Really weak. Lager yeasts. Bitterness is nonexistent
M: Extremely light and watery body. Faint carbonation. Sweet corn aftertaste
O: Low drinkability. One of the worst "beers" that I’ve ever had

i’ve had worse too but i’d actually prefer Tecate in a can to this one. nothing to differentiate it really from other crap mexican lagers. between a Corona and a Tecate/Dos Equis."

Bottle at some pool joint. Golden, fizzy, vomit, awesome, citrus, good, cooked veggies. I’ll have another one.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear pale gold, minimal white head. Simple malts and metallic, a hint of citrus. Watery, light malts and a hint of citruses, sweetish ending.

Nej tak! EN af de øl hvor en lime-skive på glassets kant giver rigtig god mening.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Creme claro, pouco formado. Coloração límpida. Amarelada para o dourado.
Aroma média para baisa intensidade. Típico de pilsner. Refrescante. Um pouco doce.
Pouco amargor. Seca. Lúpulo bastante discreto. Um pouco ácida.
Retrogosto breve e azedo.
Cerveja simples e fraca. Refrescante.

Probably not the best Latin Pale Lager out there. It would probably taste good if you were on a Central American vacation.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
One of FEMSA’s main brands, but the name apparently was bought from an old brewery. Your good old Mexican lager with a loose, off-white head and pale golden blonde colour; aroma as well as taste are one-dimensional: grainy, corn sweetness (hate it!) with, adding insult to injury, a wry, plastic-like solvent quality. Superficial, bland, even off-putting, with a thin mouthfeel. Not sure if this is worse than the infamous Corona Extra but I have better things to do than a side-by-side tasting of bad Mexican lagers to solve that matter.
