2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Clear pale golden pour with a short lived white head. Smells like a margarita...or margarita mix anyway. Lime, 7-Up, and soda water. Taste is kind of like a mix of soda water, 7-Up, and margarita mix. Slightly salty and sour. Weird.

It was hot. Sweat pouring doen like sheets of rain. Rain? If only it would rain. Even the locals are scared. Woops, wrong web page... Canada Day in PV still looked looked and felt like the set of a beer commercial. I picked up an ice cold can from OXXO. The first taste was cold and the lime refreshing but WTF is all this salt doing in my beer. A Mexican beer with lime? OK. A tablespoon of salt? No way.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Appearance: Pours a clear, translucent body with just a minute tinge of yellow with a very thin, uninviting white head.
Smell: The twangy nose is lime fresh! No good can come of this.
Taste: Faint, shamefaced malts hidden beneath a heady layer of table salt and terrible tasting artificial citrus additives. Just a blip of bitterness, perhaps it’s just imagined. Prolonged salt and lime combo until the merciful finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-light carbonation.
Drinkability: No, thank you. My accompanying beer snacks already have my daily sodium content through the roof!

12oz can. Aroma of dirty socks and Sprite. It is a Beer Margarita. Yum, a salty bowl of Froot Loops, only watered down. Do I have to describe the appearance? Finishes with a salt water and seaweed flavor.

Jesus Christ, this can was so bad it made Miller Chill seem like Dogfish 60. ’Limon’ must actually be the word for ’lime’ in spanish. Pale piss pour. Aroma was limey. Nasty artificial lime flavor. Bad.

Stupidly bad, I don’t know why Spaniards, Costarricans and now Mexicans like to brew this kind of abhorrence. It’s just more chemicals inside a can.
