COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copious amounts of piney, citrusy American hops make a light malt sweetness their bitch in this full-flavored Belgian IPA. Aggressive bitterness, massive hop flavor and super fruity Belgian yeast.

I love this beer. It’s the perfect balance of hops with a slight sweetness. SOB - make some more!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed golden, slightly orange tinted body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma has lots of Belgian yeast and pines. Banana esters, clove phenols, grapefruits, florals, and a lightly sweetened, somewhat bready malt backing. Flavor is similar. Bitter pines, florals, and Belgian yeast throughout. Some clove, banana, grapefruit, tangerine, a touch of vanilla, and a lightly sweetened, somewhat bready malt backing. A bit of a melon note towards the end before this finishes dry, fairly bitter, fruity, and somewhat estery before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a softer, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid beer. I’m not usually a huge Belgian IPA guy, but this was really nicely balanced and well done. Good one.

4 oz. taster at S.O. Dark honey brown, with a thin but persistent layer of foam. Not overly hoppy on the nose. The candi sugar sweetness of a Belgian Dubel toughs it out against an enamel-burning hop bitterness. A slight orange syrup note in the middle, even as it’s piercing my lips.

At Bavarian Lodge. The belgian yeast and hops come together nicely and don’t seem to be competing. Quite fruity and florally hoppy. Mellow citrus a little too. Warming and quite drinkable. A notice a strange resin/metalic flavor in the first sip but never noticed it again so not sure what that was about. Serving: Tap

Tap at Haymarket in Chicago. Clear golden yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Citrus and perfume hops, some apple, and a nice clean finish. Excellent beer.

On tap at the Publican. Terrific citrus hop aroma. Same with the flavor. Very crisp, refreshing and smooth. I could drink this all night. Terrific beer from a great new brewery.

On tap at Bangers and Lace. Pours a near clear orange gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of grapefruit and citrus witch a hint of pine bitterness. Flavor begins with more grapefruit but mellows to some bitter pine with a bit of citrus.

Pours a hazed clear golden with a thin off-white head. Flavor is piney, hopey with citrus and spicy notes and a grassy character. Limited sweetness.. Nice carbonation and full bitter finish.
