COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copious amounts of piney, citrusy American hops make a light malt sweetness their bitch in this full-flavored Belgian IPA. Aggressive bitterness, massive hop flavor and super fruity Belgian yeast.

4 oz. taster at S.O. Dark honey brown, with a thin but persistent layer of foam. Not overly hoppy on the nose. The candi sugar sweetness of a Belgian Dubel toughs it out against an enamel-burning hop bitterness. A slight orange syrup note in the middle, even as it’s piercing my lips.

Tap at Yard House. Clear golden color with no head. Pineapple, chalk, yeast, tropical fruit and powdered sugar. Fruity, doughy yeast flavor. Medium body with a filmy feel.

Tap. Full on grapefruit and lemony hops that finishes with a nice belgian tang. I havent had a belgian IPA in a while and this brings back fond memories.

On draft. Cloudy yellow. Aroma is slightly fruity, But mostly yeasty. Taste is Bananna, clove, milkweed, chalky. The agressive Belgian forward yeast just doesn’t work with me.

With Z, pours a rusty orange gold color with an ephemeral white head. Nose is deep citrus with softer pine and resin, and yeast . Taste is bitter , nice hops with yeast . Finishes on the citrus notes with a dry yeast ending . Quaff Score 7 / 10

Bomber. Pours a hazy orange with a orange with a white head and aroma of citrus and hops. Taste is of malt and yeast with hops, resin, pine and citrus into the dry, slightly bitter finish.

Lightly clouded golden orange, fine white head. Big estery citrus, malty breadiness. Some good bitterness, lingering malty back. Medium body, chewy. Pretty good.

Nose is a candi sugar covered hop cone. Light pine but mostly citrus. Light white wine character. Taste is initially sweet then shows off some more orange marmalade and sherbet character. A tad sweet for my taste but still very good. Could dry out more in the finish.

12oz pour at Kuma’s Corner. Very hazy amber beer with a big off white head. Palate is light and airy. Sweetish malt base with a trace of caramel. The hops are light but flavorsome. Sweet pine with a mild citrus. Finishes light with mellow bitterness. Light and drinkable.

On tap at Pinstripes Bistro, Bowling, & Bocce in Oakbrook, IL. dispensed to a tulip displaying a clear & bright golden color, with good persistence to the fluffy, cream toned head foam, and also to the wavy, curtainy lacing. The nose was expressive grapefruit, some tropical scent, lightly dank, with a bit of resin. The taste was like notes, plus a pronounced & very lingering, citrusy, earthy, and rind-like bitterness, with some malty creaminess to the mouthfeel, and decent effervescence that both advanced the body past medium. A solid Belgian IPA.
