Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a grayish white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a light sweet orange with a bit of underling sweet grains. Flavor starts with earthy grain but has some earthy citrus, clove and earthy grain towards the finish.

Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Naperville, IL). Pours a richer glowing golden orange hue, gentle haze and mellow offwhite head layers well. A filmy layer laces ok. Aromas offer gentle spice, orange, gentle coriander and yeast. Touches of bread dough, straw, and some mellow fruity ester. Lighter, some bright citrus and mellow spice. Initial is a bit more vibrant, orange zest and fruit, citrus and gentle sweetness. Orange juice, some lemon, and gentle fruit. Middle is a bit mroe dry, spicy. Some bready maltsn straw, and grass. Touches of coriander and nutmeg, gente fruity ester offers pear, lemon, and nice dryness. Backend and finish is more dry, lively spritzy zest. Gentle dry hops, spice, and orange juice and zest lingers. A bit juicy ansd zesty at times, more mellow at others. Drinkable, the ABV is gentle. A nice more manageable Belgian laying off the yeast and spice and letting some nice orange fruit and zest give some good life. Nose is a bit tame. Extra point overall for enjoyability and how it melds together well.. Albeit it’s smaller and subtle.. But it’s really nice.
