3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is fruity citrus. Orange, peach, pineapple, grapefruit, with these elements being well balanced. The taste is still heavy in citrus with lots of grapefruit noticed. In addition, there is some light pine, herbal hops, and resin. Upon drinking, this one is clean, crisp, and refreshing. Medium in body, with a slick and smooth texture. This is from a brewery that I’m unfamiliar with that I should get to know more. I really enjoyed this.

A: Really nice copper, thick foamy two finger head. Nice lacing.
S: Can’t really tell what I am smelling in this one. I get bready notes with the smell of the carbonation. Some caramel and pine.
T: Toasty bready malt backbone with some caramel sweetness. Not much in the taste of hops
M: A little thin but not a lot of sweetness and easy to drink.
O: This was just okay for me in the bottle, however I remember really liking this much much better on draft.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clean orange color with a low, foamy, white head that quickly fades. Aroma has a strong citrus nose with light pine notes. Some light sweetness from the grain bill but the hops definitely dominates this brew. Flavor has a strong pine flavor up front with a modest/strong grapefruity kick following it. The malt and alcohol stays in the background keeping it a bit more dryer which is extremely welcomed by this rater. The body is perfect with a light body paired with sharp carbonation and pronounced dryness that compliments the pine/grapefruity character of the beer well. With the low alcohol and low sweetness it puts the focus on the hops and prevents a cloying sweetness or grain alcohol extracted hops flavor some recent IPAs exhibit. The bitterness in this brew is perfect. Overall a new go to beer for this rater.

Sample at Hopleaf. The beer is a cloudy orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, hops and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Probably the weakest of the five I tasted today at the brewery tap room. Medium yellow color. Not a lot on the aroma. Taste is subdued hops and not a lot of malt. Mouthfeel seems to be very "light". More of a pale ale to me than an IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy darker blond coloured beer with medium carbonation and a small white head. Rather sweet fruity and lighter hoppy bitter floral hinted aroma. Full palate. Finish is mixed, floral hoppy with some more sweet fruity notes. Rather smouth IPA, clear hoppy notes but not overhopped.

Slightly hazy gold pour with a thin head. Some lace. Grain and simcoe hops really dominate the aroma. Bitter citrus finish. No body though.
