(kidnapped-by-vikings) Bursting with fresh hop aroma, our American IPA has a light malty sweetness to balance the dominant, pine/citrus hop presence.

Unclear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130501]

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy spruce and citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations.

Sample at Hopleaf. The beer is a cloudy orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, hops and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap @ the Rev production brewery grand opening. Pours a near clear orange with and amber hue and a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces thickly. Aroma has a good amount of pine and grass with a hint of grapefruit and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a combination of grass and grapefruit with an earthy grain backing.
