3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft pint at Standard Market. $4! A cloudy, yellowish brown, somewhat accentuated by the yellow from the Two Brothers logo on the tumbler they served it in thin foam ring. Hoppy smell of Amarillos or their kin. Taste is big big big on hops; mostly pine needles and resin, delivering its primary blast to the back half of the mouth. Not really a Double IPA, just a hopped up one. Served a little too cold, but maybe I donít want to be there when it warms up. Then thereís a smooth, just slightly sweet and nutty malt bill to keep this beer in its cage. A gobstopping beer experience.

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, caramel, and citrus. Taste juicy hops, pine, and citrus. There is also a strong caramel taste. Long lingering hop bitterness. Light bodied, without being thin. Drinks real easy. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap, poured into a shaker. Grapefruit and pine aromas come through with orange notes late. Hazy bronze-orange colored beer is topped by a soft, dense, white foam head that reduces to a medium thick ring, with a fuzzy surface and a messy, runny lace (only a bit sticks). The taste is a medium / medium-high bitter and medium sweet. Itís smooth with a creamy carbonation. Thr medium full body has flavors of sweet orange, and some bread crust upfront with grassy pine and ctirus rind bitter at itís finish. Itís astringent with flavors of pine and grapefrruit rind lingering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy spruce and citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber to snifter (shared by Tmoney99). Looks good; a semi-transparent orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; hoppy with a prominent pale malt backbone thatís both a bit sweet and boozy. Tastes like it smells, but with a bit more of a tropical hop profile. Average on the palate. A solid IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle, thanks to tmoney99. Mostly clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head, loose bits of lace. Spicy toasty malt in the nose. Kind of a toasty piney hop flavor. Moderate to bigger bitter taste. Medium body. Smooth, lightly soft lighter carbonation. Very dry finish. Solid, enjoyable, smooth and easy drinking sort of spicy lighter IPA.
