COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’d like to introduce Snaggletooth Bandana, our newest addition. A massive grapefruit, pineapple, and super-ripe mango aromatic burst out of this medium-bodied IPA. Assertive bitterness is balanced by a subtle malt sweetness and more citrusy fun. You’ll tell your grandkids about the first time you drank the Snaggletooth Bandana. And they will tell that story long after you. 6.5%ABV.

4 oz. draft at Solemn Oath. Big pomegranate and apricot nose. Hazy gold color, and the thickest head of the four samples poured for me. Taste is similarly solid with tropical fruit, pine & bitterness.

A really smooth tasting beer. Had a nice hoppy flavor and was intense but drinkable.

Tasted from a 12oz. can. It poured a slightly hazy golden hue with lively carbonation, a quickly dissipating white head and absolutely no lacing. Mild pine and citrus nose. A nicely bitter hop taste with a hint of grapefruit. Big flavor without being too aggressive. I won’t remember this first time I drank Snaggletooth Bandana, so I will not be telling anyone (let alone my imaginary grandkids), but I will remember to buy and drink this tasty IPA again. It’s good to see Chicago’s suburbs living up to Chicago strong IPA tradition.

Can from Dale. Amber pour with small airy head. Caramel malts first on aroma. Not overly hopped, but not juicy east coast either. A bit of a metallic tinge on the finish. Solid IPA.

Clear yellow, gold. Mango and tropical fruits, pine. Fairly bitter, some malt sweetness. Oily, medium body, long finish. Good.

Aroma is orange/citrus, mildly sweet fruit and slightly perfumed. The flavor is orange/citrus, hops, malts and a spicy/bitter finish.

This is an old school IPA w/ considerable malty sweetness to it. It works. It’s got a great big citrus nose with some pine needle undertones. It’s rather full bodied and a touch heavy on the palate but the sweetness does seem to bring out some depth to the fruity nose. It finishes w/ some lingering sweetness and a solid but not overbearing dose of bitterness. This is a definite taste of 2008 but it’s really well done. It’s not light enough to be really drinkable but it tastes good enough you wish it was.

Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. The aroma is very fruity, with pineapple, peach, mango, and grapefruit. These impressions are complimented with grassy hops. The taste initially gives you a sharp bitterness. I find pineapple and mango, as well as a healthy amount of citrus hops. There are some subtler notes of pine and grapefruit. Lighter pineapple aftertaste. Average in body, with a slick texture, and some lively carbonation. Not spectacular, but pretty good still.

Odd duck here. Aroma is a bit like a year old free pit but without the smoke. Flavor’s super smooth and balanced.

Draft at Kasey’s Tavern in Chicago. Aroma of tropical fruits and flowery hops. Lots of mango, peach, and apricot notes. The body is close to full, and the mouthfeel is big and chewy. A bright, vibrant, fresh, fruity IPA with great hop expression and a bitter finish.
