3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ the brewcompany. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are toasted malt, caramel, nuts and hops. Dry finish. Bartender told me that this was supposed to have been a porter and that is why the "coaster" said "1547 Porter", but they changed it to brown ale later as the beer menu lists it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The label at the brewery says this is their 1547 Porter but by notes read like a brown ale. Some roastiness, maybe a hint of coffee to the aroma. Pretty light red color for a porter. This is easily the nuttiest of all their beers with some coffee hanging around. Decent.
